Hi, my name is Margie. I am a gifted Reader & Diviner, a proud member of the The Association of Independent Readers and Rootworkers and a Certified Rootworker, Reiki Master & Teacher, and Herbalist & Aromatherapist.

I've been providing ethical and affordable spiritual help to clients for nearly three decades, and I am available both in-person and via phone or Facebook FaceTime calls (Central Time). I am a conjure woman and can cast spells or help you cast your own spell. I am the proud owner of The Pride, my spiritual shop located right outside of Chicago, IL, where I've been hand making most of my products for the last 25 years. I am Head Priestess of La Ofrenda Altar Room, where my clients burn their customized 7-Day Prayer and Handmade Candles, which I've dressed with spiritual or essential oils and magically active herbs to cast a spell to help resolve their issues.​

How My Services Work
Nearly Three Decades of Experience Helping Clients Achieve Life-Changing Results.
Start with booking a Reading, Spiritual Consultation, Rootwork Advice, or Spiritual Cleansing to be done over the phone or in-person.
I usually advise clients to start with a reading first, as it tells us exactly what's going on and what needs to be done. In most cases, I will suggest a curated cleansing specific to your issue. Depending on the situation, this can be done with a bath or smudge floor wash or candle. After those two suggestions, I will customize the remainder of spiritual work so that you can get the best results for your desires.

As a Psychic Reader, I can help you through reading charms, tarot cards, oracle cards, bones, eggs, and pendulum.
As a certified Rootworker, I can recommend herbs and roots for burning, brewing or carrying with you to alter your situation.

My Background and Harvesting Approach
I have been helping people solve problems and achieve their desires for nearly three decades—and I absolutely love my job helping people live happier, healthier lives. My parents are native to the Appalachian people; they helped mold my understanding and connection to holistic remedies and cultural “superstitions” that have been at the root of our existence since the beginning of time.
From a very young age, I’ve had a gift of seeing the “unseen” and I’ve had a strong connection to folkloric and religious beliefs that help us connect to our Metaphysical Existence. I am currently a certified Hoodoo Rootworker, and have attended ​many classes including graduating from Miss Cat’s Hoodoo Rootwork Correspondence Course in 2010 and her in-person Apprenticeship program in 2017.

I enjoy wild crafting herbs and roots for my shop. There is something so magical about picking, cleaning, and drying freshly harvested herbs. I truly feel that the little touch of picking my own herbs and using them in spiritual products for my clients gives them more power and intention.

​I’m a prideful advocate of all things that help us connect to our Metaphysical Existence. When my clients discover a richer, purer existence through our offerings—I know I have served my purpose.
La Ofrenda Altar Room
I am proud Head Priestess of the La Ofrenda Altar Room, where I burn custom Seven-Day Prayer Candles to cast spells for my clients' needs or to make ancestral offerings for their loved ones. Once I have consulted with a client, I will dress the proper candle with spiritual or essential oils and magically active herbs and roots that serve their purpose.
I've studied many different cultures and religions, and can prepare candles based on personal spiritual or religious preferences. Candles may be created at The Pride or ordered over the phone for burning at the altar. Candles may also be ordered via phone for pick up or mailing (additional fees apply).
Magical Workshops
I teach Magical Workshops at my spiritual shop, The Pride, near Chicago, IL. I empower my students to harvest their own natural ingredients and use them to create their own spells.

Examples of my classes include How To Set Up An Ancestral Altar, House Cleansing Wash Making Class, and Hand Rolled Beeswax Candle Making Class, just to name a few.

The Association of Independent Readers and Rootworkers (AIRR) is a gathering of professional practitioners of African American folk magic, hoodoo, conjure, and rootwork who provide psychic readings and spiritual root doctoring services to the public. AIRR promotes quality service and ethical conduct by means of accreditation and evaluation of our members. Unlike commercial online psychic reader services, AIRR is a membership-supported organization that receives no fees or kickbacks for referrals.
